Injection foam is a great insulation product for new construction as well.  Inject-A-Seal R is able to achieve R 5.2 per inch in thickness at peak performance. Imagine a 2x4 wall insulated to a true R-17, completely air sealed, and blocking the noises of life outside. Efficient, clean, quiet, and comfortable.

In new construction applications a 1/4" mesh netting is stapled to the face of the studs and the foam is blown through the screen to fill the cavity. Once a pre determined area is completely filled, a push broom is used to screed off excess material and allow for wall cover to be installed. Unlike high pressure foam, Inject-A-Seal stays pliable, similar to a marshmallows' consistency which insures that the foam will NOT deform the wall board in the event there is a slightly over filled area. Product waist is also minimized because of this.
